Water of Life (part 2)

Water is a unique substance that has special properties. There is nothing else quite like it on the planet. First, it is a great conductor of electricity, which is why being on a boat in an electrical storm is not a good idea. Water has the ability to carry other energies as well. One of the most fascinating of its many qualities is that water has the capacity to take on the energy imprint of what it comes in contact with. This is most evident in the field of homeopathy where water is routinely imprinted with substances that are successfully used in healing a variety of illnesses. Structured water employs the same principle.

In addition to adapting to substances, water is also highly susceptible to words and to human intent. Perhaps this is why religious people have been making and using holy water since time immemorial. The recent research of Dr. Masaru Emoto verifies the capacity of water to change its structure in response to words and the intent embedded in them. Since energy and information comprise your etheric body, water is intrinsic to the proper functioning of this body. However, not just any water. Pure, fresh, vitalized water is best.

By the time it reaches your household tap, most water has passed through someone’s sewer or a toxic industrial conduit (Pitchford). Water is endlessly recycled in cities and chlorine, a known hazard even on the surface of the body, is routinely added. Bottled water is unregulated so you don’t know for sure what you are drinking, and the leeching effect of plastic from the bottle into the water makes it doubly undesirable. In addition, most bottled water sits in dark warehouses for long periods and eventually ends up bathed in fluorescent lights on store shelves. Chemicalizing water, trapping it in plastic bottles for prolonged periods, storing it in darkness or artificial light, all these factors combine to effectively kill the water. Dead water is unable to perform its vital function as an energy conductor between your physical and vital body.

The solution is not an easy one. The best water for etheric health is water that is moving, exposed to natural sunlight, has just emerged from the earth on its own, and is clean. This type of water has high frequency energy vibration and is teeming with vitality. I am describing natural spring water, of course, but not many of us can hike out and gather pristine spring-fed water to quench our thirst. Increasing human population and expanding urban development makes water that meets this description scarce. We can only attempt to replicate some of its qualities: purity, sunlight, movement, and high frequency energy.

You can take control of the purity, movement and sunlight aspects of your water by using a home water filter. This way you’ll know what you are getting in terms of purity and need not rely on the claims of an unregulated bottled water industry. Check filter specifications before buying to make sure the filter removes a long list of known toxins and not just superficial impurities. Look for research to back up claims. In general, you get what you pay for. Pour-through pitcher type filters only do a surface cleaning of the water. Under-the-counter models have more filter capacity and clean better. Reverse osmosis units tend to work well, as do distillation methods and some structured water units.

But you can structure your own water and bring sunlight, movement, and high frequency energy to it. Store the water in a clear glass bottle (not plastic or colored), cap it, and set it in direct sunlight for about 15 minutes to charge it. Before drinking it, try the recipe posted above.

“Full Spectrum” Lighting, a Misnomer

Some people have attempted to remedy the fluorescent light problem by using incandescent light bulbs that are marketed and labeled "full spectrum." Sadly, even so-called full spectrum lighting is bereft ( Turns out these bulbs produce light that is virtually lacking in yellow frequencies, an essential nutrient for the etheric body. The same is true for full-spectrum fluorescents. They are lacking in yellow as well as red, plus they produce dirty energy. In other words, they are nutritionally deficient and contaminated. Often these factors are hidden in advertising when manufacturers’ color charts are depicted using "averaged" frequency levels.

Contaminated light

The best lighting is the common household incandescent light bulb because it comes closest to replicating the balanced frequency spectrum of natural sunlight. This seems a simple solution to the lighting problem. However, some sates and even entire countries are in the process of prohibiting use of these bulbs. California and Canada are considering legislation to phase out the sale of incandescent bulbs by 2012 and Australia’s goal is 2010. The European Union has a similar plan. Requiring everyone to replace incandescent bulbs with fluorescents is prompted by energy conservation concerns. But it’s not only a bad idea for etheric health, it’s potentially bad for the environment. Fluorescent light bulbs contain toxic mercury, which will end up in the environment unless extensive recycling efforts are mandated to accompany these changes. Sounds like a good time to contact your legislators.

Let There Be Light

Happy Autumnal Equinox! Autumn is a time of diminishing light. As the daylight hours fade, we may find ourselves indoors more but the etheric body likes natural sunlight. The sun produces a type of nutrient-rich energy this body thrives on. The Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and lack of vitamin D evident in people who do not get enough natural sunlight are just the tip of the iceberg. Lack of sun has been linked to various organ cancers, as well as flues and infections. The recent UV scare that has people covering their bodies and slathering their skin has led to an anemic etheric body. While I am not advocating tossing out the sunscreen and donning your birthday suit for a day at the beach, it is important that the etheric body get some natural light. The equivalent of 10 minutes of afternoon sunlight on unclothed skin every day is recommended (Kim Ridley, Are You Getting Enough Sun?, Ode, Sept. 2007, p. 67–69).

Whether it’s sun-phobia or busy lifestyle, more people are staying indoors and for longer periods. Instead of exposure to natural sunlight, the etheric body is then fed an artificial diet. Artificial light is substandard and often lacking in many of the essential nutrients of the sun. Through use of a spectroscope it’s possible to analyze the ingredients of various light sources. Natural sunlight contains all the colors of the rainbow in uniform frequency patterns. In contrast, fluorescent light contains drastically inconsistent frequencies—large energy peaks in the yellow, green and violet ranges. This is of special concern because florescent tube lighting is so prevalent in public places and compact fluorescent bulbs are increasingly used in home lighting. In electrician’s parlance, inconsistent energy frequencies are commonly referred to as "dirty energy." Through continuous exposure to fluorescent lighting, the etheric body is fed the energy equivalent of contaminated food.

A convicted Nazi war criminal sits in prison thinking of new ways to take over the world. During those long uninterrupted days, he realizes that to control a people you simply have to control their supply of food, water or air. He determines that he cannot easily control the world’s air or water supplies but he can control the food supply. He devises a long term plan. The target date is December 31, 2009. He concludes he must be stealthy. It takes over 40 years but by 2007 the plan is almost completely implemented. It is going better than expected. Only two and a half years to go.

Sounds like a sci-fi thriller but unfortunately it is not. The plan is called The Codex Alimentarius and the goal is total nutritional control. Already ratified by many countries and the World Health Organization, it is slated to become law in the U.S. on December 31, 2009. The important thing to know about Codex is that it is a TRADE agreement, not a health agreement. Since most nutrient companies (vitamins, herbs, and minerals) have been bought up by chemical companies, the threat is very real. Codex affects not only nutritional supplements but also food itself, the lifeblood of human existence.

To learn more about the threat and to sign a petition to help stop it, visit This is the website of Natural Solutions Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating people about health concerns. This organization was instrumental in stopping a bill that would mandate adding toxic fluoride to infant formula. The website contains an extremely informative and well done video featuring Dr. Rima Laibow, a Medical Doctor who has dedicated her life and skills to helping educate people about crucial health issues. The 40 minutes to watch the video is time well spent.

Unhappy Meals

Earlier this year, New York Times columnist Michael Pollan wrote an extensive article called Unhappy Meals. The bottom line was that we should "eat food." What prompted Pollan to take over 12 columns of newsprint to say this is that most of what passes off as food is not really food. Instead, what we find on our grocery store shelves are products of the food science industry, most of which have proven to be less beneficial–and sometimes even harmful–to health. Step away from the grocery store. Return to the garden.

Let Them Eat Gas

The growing dependence on fossil fuels is taking its toll on the food supply. At first it seemed that corn-based ethanol was the welcomed answer to rising gas prices. Now with government subsidies, rising prices and growing demand, farmers are being lured away from growing food crops and instead are growing fuel crops. The result is scarcity of edible corn and sky-rocketing prices for corn along with everything that has corn in it (which is just about every food product in existance). Mexico recently saw rioting in protest of the prohibitively high price of tortillas, a Mexican staple. What will we do when all the food is gone?

Subtle Energy Conferences

If you are reading this blog, you are obviously interested in subtle energies. I am honored to be presenting at two amazing conferences in June and want to take this opportunity to encourage you to attend. Both are profound opportunities to learn more about subtle energies from the foremost experts in this arena (and no, I’m not just saying that because I am presenting!). Read on.

The International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies and Energy Medicine (ISSSEEM) has been formally studying energy phenomena since 1989. One of the oldest and most respected organizations for the scientific study of subtle energies, their conference this year is in Boulder, Colorado on June 21-27. Their conference theme is, "The Science of the Miraculous." Keynote speakers include Matthew Fox, experts on crop circles, the unified field, and Dr. Amit Gaswami from "What the Bleep Do We Know?" Chek them out at

The Energy Kinesiology Association (EnKA) and the Touch For Health Kinesiology Association (TFHKA) are sponsoring a joint conference in Salt Lake City Utah June 6-9. The theme of this year’s conference is "Energy Medicine: From Theory to Practice." Keynote speakers are Donna Eden, author of the popular book "Energy Medicine," and Dr. Jim Oschman, scientist, researcher, and Past President of ISSSEEM. Check it out online at

Fat Food

In the US, one-third of adults are categorized as obese and about two-thirds fall into the category of being overweight. By comparison, in France just slightly more than 9 percent of citizens are obese and fewer than a third are overweight. Still, recently the French government has taken the pro-active stance of ordering food ads to carry cautions telling the French to stop snacking, do more exercise and eat more healthily.
Attempting to avoid the U.S. plight, other European countries have similar restrictions in place. Sweden and Norway already forbid broadcast advertising aimed at children. Ireland has imposed a ban on TV ads for candy and fast food. They also prohibit using celebrities and sports stars to promote junk food to children. Britain has also mandated nutritional guidance for food packages.
France’s new health rules affect advertisements on television, radio, billboards and the Internet for processed, sweetened or salted food and beverages. Companies that refuse to run the messages are fined 1.5 percent of the cost of the ad. The money goes to the National Institute for Health Education. Apparently the coca cola company has complied in France. A coke ad seen on a billboard in France recently read: "For your health, eat at least five fruits and vegetables a day."
