Energy Medicine and the Multidimensional Human:
Practices and Tools for Transformation*

Course Description
The emerging field of energy medicine has exploded in the past two decades with compelling research, new modalities, and innovative therapeutic techniques. It draws from ancient wisdom traditions as well as modern science and contributions from newly devised sensitive biotechnology instruments.
This introductory training provides participants with an overview of the theoretical framework of energy medicine, including the research supporting it, and offers an opportunity to practice and experience some of the techniques associated with energy medicine. We will use the multidimensional model as a basis to explore the four main energy bodies--the physical/etheric, emotional, mental and spiritual. This training is for counseling psychology graduate students and professionals interested in exploring contributions from energy medicine and will be experiential in nature. Continuing education credit is available (15 hours, including the Friday evening talk).
Course Objectives
In this experiential workshop we will explore:
- The four energy bodies of the human constitution
- The six internal senses
- Typical distortions of the energy bodies
- The role of consciousness in the healing process
- The five principles of the etheric interface
- Practices and tools for personal growth and/or clinical practice
The Instructor
Debra Greene, PhD, is an energy health specialist, author, educator, and clinician. She holds a PhD in communication and somatics from Ohio State University and is author of the acclaimed book Endless Energy: The Essential Guide to Energy Health. An innovator in energy medicine and mind-body integration Debra is the developer of Inner Clarity (IC), an energy based therapeutic modality, as well as the Energy Mastery program, a year-long distance learning program. She is known for her ability to get to the core of energy imbalances and facilitate lasting improvement.
